The Associated Press reported in the Washington Times tonight that the House Democratic leaders plan to sidetrack bipartisan efforts to alter the course of the war in Iraq and possibly start bringing home some of the American troops stationed there because they feel that it is too soon to allow the Republican representatives a chance to distance themselves from the Bush administration and that if the war is allowed to continue unabated and more American troops are killed then it will make the Democrats look even better in the polls running up to the election in 2008.
While some may find this bit of news to be entirely astonishing, this is the gist of the story, and you can read the entire thing for yourself at the Washington Times.

Without the encouragement and assistance that the federal government, the Bush administration, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, some Republicans in the U.S. Congress and most of the Democrats holding elected positions are giving to the millions of illegal aliens in this country the American people would see a miraculous reduction in crime, a remarkable increase in the profitability of hospitals and emergency medical care providers, a reduction in medical insurance costs, a significant improvement in our nation’s educational system, a reduction in the nation’s dependence on foreign oil, less crowding on American highways, better quality air and water, a reduction in government spending and a more secure nation less likely to be infiltrated by Islamic terrorists.

The American people have no possible way to fully comprehend the unimaginable sum of money that the federal government is spending everyday to bring lasting government sanctioned benefits into the day to day lives of the criminal aliens that are coming across our southern border at a rate of 8000 per day.  It would take a legion of researchers years to uncover the virtual multitude of federal grants, programs and entire departments dedicated to supplying benefits and representation, in one form or another, to the millions of criminal invaders now living in this country, to say nothing about the number of federally funded programs and agencies seemingly devised for the sole purpose of encouraging even more illegal aliens to enter the United States.  There are simply too many of them and to make matters even worse, there are numerous cases of typically government redundancies where several programs and agencies provide the same or very similar services and each of them is blessed with their own allotment of federal tax money. 

If the American government were to stop spending our tax dollars on illegal aliens they could pay off the national debt in short order and send ever American citizen a check for a few hundred thousand dollars ever time they celebrated a birthday.

For each and every day that our congressional representatives spend discussing their proposed changes to our existing immigration laws the American taxpayers are billed around $2.5 million dollars, however, this is merely the tip of a very large iceberg (completely unaffected by global warming) bobbing about in a vast sea of federal waste.

The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) whose primary purpose for existence appears to be ensuring that detained illegal aliens are set free so they can easily disappear into the woodwork of America and avoid being deported cost the American taxpayers around $220 million dollars in 2006.  They have been given $227 million dollars of American tax money to run their questionable operation this year and the federal government has set aside $251 million dollars for them in 2008.  These are the people who see to it that illegal aliens convicted of raping pre-teenage boys and girls in our country get a fair shake when they show up in immigration court and, whenever possible, they are allowed out of detention so they can hightail it off to some other area of the country and hide while they look for more children to victimize.

The federal government spends over $2 trillion a year on approximately 1,000 federal programs.  Many of these programs provide benefits supplied by similar federal programs such as the 80 federal anti-poverty programs that cost us more than $400 billion dollars a year and, as evidenced by the growing poverty rate in this country, do little toward solving any identifiable problem, real or imagined. Hundreds of these federal programs have been created for the purpose of transferring the hard earned wages of America’s middle class working citizens directly into the pockets of illegal aliens.  However, as a result of gross government incompetence and the growing cost of maintaining the bureaucratic horde necessary to staff these futile endeavors, most of the money is, for lack of a better term, pissed away, long before it reaches the intended target.

$190 million dollars a year is funneled into the Department of Agriculture’s Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) to provide food and administrative funds to States for needy people (illegal aliens) working in the agricultural industry. 

$95 million dollars a year is directed to the Department of Education boondoggle known as “Developing Hispanic-serving Institutions,” a program to help expand and enhance the academic quality, institutional management, and fiscal stability of institutions that enroll large percentages of low-income Hispanic illegal alien students.
  
$112 million dollars a year is channeled into a program entitled “Even Start,” a bureaucratic nightmare designed for the stated purpose of breaking the cycle of poverty and illiteracy for low-income families by integrating early childhood education, adult literacy, and parenting education into a unified family literacy program aimed primarily at illegal aliens.

$79 million dollars a year is siphoned off for the Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers Program which was designed to provide greater employment opportunities to illegal aliens with disabilities. 

Another $79 million dollars a year is spent on the Workforce Investment Act – Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers to provide funding for the training, employment, and other services aimed at economically disadvantaged illegal aliens and their families throughout the agricultural industry. 

Besides the social welfare and educational programs funded by your hard-earned tax dollars the U.S. government also paid out $400 million dollars in 2006 to compensate the individual states for the cost of housing incarcerated illegal alien murderers, rapists, pedophiles and other serious illegal alien felons that the Executive Office for Immigration Review did not manage to set free on the streets of American cities.  This program is called the “State Criminal Alien Assistance Program” and while they were only budgeted $241 million dollars this year that is not because there are less incarcerated illegal aliens, it is simply because the federal government has decided to stiff a large number of states for the cost of dealing with our government’s failure to enforce border security.

Ironically, the one common characteristic shared by these federal spending programs, other than being designed to benefit illegal aliens directly or dealing with the financial problems created by illegal aliens, is that practically every one of them is either entirely ineffective and noteworthy for the programs lack of a focused goal but, they are also characteristically noted for the poor management and other significant weaknesses.  Furthermore the federal programs that are not completely without some redeeming value are unable to develop acceptable performance goals or collect data to determine whether or not they are doing what they are supposed to be doing.  According to the U.S. Office of Management and Budget, 22% of all Federal programs fall into this category while 3% of all federal programs can only be described as pure tax drains, where the money pours in and nothing comes out. 
 
For the American people who sit in dazed confusion trying to figure things out for themselves the bottom line is that the United States government loves to grow and expand and the haplessly impoverished criminal aliens invading our nation has supplied our government with an opportunity to expand in new and creative ways never before seen.  Illegal aliens have created hundreds of very serious problems and our government has stepped up to the plate and solve these serious problems by hiring thousands of new employees, creating new and interesting programs, federal agencies with varying degrees of incompetence and prolific amounts of regulations and guidelines, effectively turning illegal aliens into an entirely new government growth industry.  If our federal government were to order every illegal alien in this nation deported tomorrow, thousands of federal employees would suddenly be unemployed, hundreds of new federal buildings would be emptied, the storage costs of the resulting surplus in office supplies would be enormous and our congressional representatives would have nothing to fill their time.

The Washington Post reported today that since the senate amnesty bill went down in flames around the end of June more than 60 private bills have cropped up in congress.  Private bills are pieces of legislation that benefit one individual as opposed to something like a bill that would increase border security which would benefit everyone.  This flurry of private bills are all focused on changing the status of illegal aliens to legal residents (amnesty on a case by case basis) and while the representatives of both major political parties are so engaged, the Democrats seem to be holding the lead.

Michigan’s Democratic senator, Carl M. Levin has sponsored eight of these private bills so far and Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) has sponsored nine. Feinstein, who seems to have an uncanny knack for summing up the completely absurd with amazingly trite little sound bites stated, “In the immigration world, there are heartbreaking stories of people who face hardship through no fault of their own.”  If I didn’t know any better I would swear that the California crone was talking about the newlywed couple, James and Emilia Lee, who ended their six week marriage when 17 illegal aliens in a truck doing 90 miles per hour splattered them all over the Arizona highway. She might have been referring to Tracy Owen and her unborn child who were shot five times and killed by drunken illegal aliens who thought that they had struck her with their car and decided to leave no witnesses (they didn’t actually hit her with their car, she accidentally fell).  In the immigration world, the heartbreaking stories of American citizens who are slaughtered every day by illegal aliens get buried way towards the back of the paper where few will notice them while the hardships suffered by criminals who have illegally invaded this country are given front page coverage.  This is why you have never heard about Madelyn Cumpston who still grieves for her big sister Annie after watching her six year old sibling get crushed under the wheels of a truck driven through a crosswalk by illegal alien Guillermo Diaz or Kimberly Hope who was murdered by illegal alien Daniel Gonzalez Berumen because he wanted her car.  Another victim in the world of immigration is Sean Marti, 24 years old and his 5 month old daughter Sage, killed when illegal alien Edgar Vasquez Hernandez drunkenly swerved across the highway into oncoming traffic and stuck their car head-on.  

For these victims of immigration there is no longer any hardship, their lives, their futures, their opportunities and their contributions to society are now lost forever and the only thing that remains is pain, the sense of loss and the devastation felt by those who loved them. It’s a shame that senators Feinstein and Levin can’t see the hardship and the pain of these immigration victims. “In the immigration world, there are heartbreaking stories of people who face hardship through no fault of their own.”  

There are nearly 10,000 American citizens killed every year in this country by illegal aliens and while Feinstein and Levin are out trying to save every illegal alien from being deported the heartbreaking stories of American citizens slaughtered through no fault of their own by illegal aliens continues to rise.

Few would deny that children can be given to strange behavior.  The early teens are troubling times for most young people as they struggle to create an identity for themselves amidst the increasing social pressures of a modern world and, the more often than not, bizarre customs practiced by their immediate peers.  For this reason, it seems entirely appropriate that the strange habits of young people are normally perceived with a great deal of laxity.  As most adults are usually well aware, the barbell piercing the lower lip of today’s teen quickly becomes tomorrows embarrassment when left to its own devices and before the time most teens are ready to graduate from high school, the bizarre tendencies demonstrated in their early teens have given way to a succession of similarly odd practices that inevitably result in an evolutionary transformation resulting in, more or less, stable young adults who are every bit as much socially repressed as the most “normal” of adults.

While most parents would admit that this is simply the process normally referred to as “growing up” there are, unfortunately, adults in our society who appear to expect nothing less than perfection from children regardless of their age, and are willing to deal out harsh draconian punishment to any youngster that fails to meet their unrealistic standards.  If it seems unlikely to you that such an individual would be afforded any level of authority in our society then you have not heard anything about McMinnville, Oregon and the two thirteen year old boys that were apprehended at Patton Middle School for participating in what many students there described as “slap butt day.” 

Cory Mashburn and Ryan Cornelison, two waifish looking kids were singled out among the numerous students, both boys and girls, after being identified by a teacher’s aid.  They were escorted into the vice principal’s office and interrogated by school officials and local police before being hauled off in handcuffs to spend five days in juvenile jail.  

The McMinnville district attorney, a dweebish, over-zealous misanthrope named Bradley Berry, has claimed that the actions of the two apprehended waifs constituted sexual abuse and harassment.  Bradley-Berry, obviously an insipid cretin, has further alleged that the victims of these two desperado butt-slappers have been devastated for all eternity and their shattered lives will never be the same.  Ironically, the police officer that conducted the follow-up interview with some of the female “victims” of this heinous crime was told that it was “slap butt day,” that many of the school kids in attendance that day participated including boys and girls and two of the alleged female victims admitted to participating by slapping the butts of boys within their reach.   
 
When these sexual predators were finally dragged into the court for their first hearing Two of the alleged victims testified on behalf of the boys and told the judge, under oath, that they were friends and did not feel threatened by them, furthermore, they testified that, during the initial interviews with the school’s vice principal and the police they were pressured into saying things that were not true.  Subsequently, the boys were released from custody and returned to their homes; however, the court ordered them out of school, barred them from contacting any of their friends and demanded they remain under constant parental supervision. Their parents have been forced, at great expense, to hire an attorney to defend their children and both of them are still facing up to ten years in prison and having to register as sex offenders for the rest of their lives all for a bit of horseplay where no one claims to have been victimized and even the alleged victims appear to have enthusiastically participated.

After reading through the transcripts of the sworn testimony given by two of the alleged female victims, reviewing the charges filed the McMinnville district attorney and giving due consideration to the coercion and intimidation used by the vice principal of Patton Middle School and the local police to wring appropriately scandalous, but entirely untruthful, statements from a couple of obviously threatened young ladies, I have come to the independent conclusion that the actual abuse has nothing to do with the two children charged and the state of Oregon needs to focus it’s attention, and it’s criminal charges on the vice principal, the police officers involved and the McMinnville district attorney who have conspired to destroy these two young students by fabricating an entirely outlandish and fraudulent case against them.  These morally repugnant individuals pose a very real threat to the children of McMinnville, Oregon and they are the ones that should be held to account for the perversity of their appalling actions.

As this case has worked its way through the Oregon court system I understand that the charges have been reduced to misdemeanor offenses and, at this time the McMinnville district attorney’s office is offering the children an opportunity for a deal if they agree to plead guilty to some lesser offense.  Hopefully, the children’s parents have the financial support and tenacity to resist any such offer and continue the fight until their children are entirely vindicated.  At that point it is hoped that they will turn the tables and pursue charges against the perpetrators of this outrage with sufficient vigor to ensure that the vice principal, the police officers involved and the McMinnville district attorney are dealt with in an appropriately devastating manner.

The federal government is still ignoring border security and immigration law as thousands of illegal aliens flood across our unobstructed borders every day and the American people continue to serve as the target of choice for the rapists, child molesters, thieves, murderers and pathologically drunk drivers flocking into this country while our elected leaders in Washington sit around on the butts discussing convoluted legislative ways they can use to force the American people into, not simply, accepting this deplorable situation but accepting the fact that we must pay for it financially with our increasing tax dollars.

As if this were not sufficiently incredible by itself, we now have federal judges saying that local attempts to protect American citizens from the predations of these illegal invaders is unconstitutional because it “disrupt(s) a carefully drawn federal statutory scheme.”  U.S. District Judge, James M. Munley’s ruling, if left unchallenged, will affect hundreds of communities across America that have attempted to protect their citizens from the predatory and parasitic illegal aliens that have invaded their lives.

Essentially the message that is being sent to the American people from the Bush administration, the U.S. Congress and now the federal courts is that the people of the United States of America will not be protected from the criminal invaders flooding into their country and any local attempts designed to defend American citizens from these criminal invaders will be prohibited as well. The United States will continue to ignore the security of the nation as these criminals invade our country and when one of these innocents is apprehended by the local police for satisfying his perverted sexual desires by raping an American woman or a child of an American citizen then our government will step in and see to it that the culprit is sent home unpunished so he can consider his anti-social behavior before returning to the U.S. illegally two weeks later.  The rule of law in the United States is deaf, dumb, blind and dead so far as justice is concerned.  The rule of law is now the possession of the government and it is their sole right to pull it out and dust it off for use against the unruly masses who need to be dominated and dictated to because they are too stupid to get out of the way of the imperial elitists in Washington who best understand the proper way to solve everything.

Sad as it is, our government is telling us that they don’t care, we are on our own and they will do nothing to help.  The only advice I can give anyone in this situation is to pack your extra firearms and ammunition away with extreme care and the ones you leave out need to be clean, well maintained and fully loaded.  Breath deep, aim for the largest part of the body and squeeze, don’t jerk the trigger.   Repeat until the desired affect is attained.

Peter Gadiel, a Contributing Editor to Family Security Matters perfectly sums up the quintessential question that many long term Republicans and former supporters of George W. Bush have been asking themselves more and more.  As someone that voted for the man twice, I find the words of Peter Gadiel to be extremely profound and I highly recommend that anyone who feels as betrayed as I do by this president should read this article.

“Why does Bush allow illegal aliens, every one a law breaker, to enter the United States freely? Why does he refuse to enforce existing law and to allow terrorists, violent felons and drug smugglers full access to their intended American victims?  Why does he continuously ignore the Constitution and the oath he swore to uphold it?  Why doesn’t he care about Americans suffering as a result of depressed wages and working conditions, or about the Americans who have been the victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens?”

“What kind of man is this who lifts not a finger to acknowledge his role in these acts of violence and refuses to take action to prevent future crimes?”

House Republicans said Thursday they hope to block provisions of a Democratic bill to expand health care coverage for poor children that could open up the coverage to illegal immigrants.

“Illegal immigrants are about to get an unexpected boost thanks to the Democratic Congress,” House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said in a statement Thursday.

“The Democrats have a proposal that not only raises taxes on middle class families and slashes funding for a popular Medicare program … it eliminates the requirement that persons applying for Medicaid or SCHIP service show proof of citizenship or nationality.”

Last night the U.S. Senate voted to adopt the conference report on the proposed legislation to implement the remaining recommendations of the 9/11 Commission.  That conference report contains the proposed amendment to authorize the Department of Homeland Security to expand the dangerous Visa Waiver Program which is effectively nothing more than a loophole that allows terrorists to enter this country easily and has already contributed to the deaths of thousands by allowing convicted 9/11 co-conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui to enter the United States.  The inclusion of the proposed expansion of the Visa Waiver Program in a bill that was originally designed to enhance America’s security is a slap in the face to the millions of American citizens that expressed their outrage over the U.S. Senate’s attempt to force a general amnesty for more than 20 million illegal aliens down our throats.  The arrogant elected representatives in Washington are determined to put the American people in their place and, by any means possible, enact every single provision contained in the failed senate amnesty bill.  Despite their anger over the failure of their fraudulent comprehensive Immigration reform effort they have moved on to chop the provisions of that bill into a large number of separate components that can be easily tucked into every piece of proposed legislation that comes up in the House and the Senate just as they have buried the enhancement of the Visa Waiver Program in the 9-11 bill.  By fair means or foul, the people we elected to represent our best interests, the representatives that have sworn to uphold the American Constitution and protect the citizens of this country, are determined to provide rewards and amnesty for illegal aliens while increasing foreign worker visas, lottery visas and chain migration, by weakening this nation’s border security and destroying the nation’s capacity to enforce its immigration laws.  In the process these representatives are willing to obstruct and, in many cases, entirely destroy the essence of well thought out proposed legislation that would benefit this nation and the people who live here legally by amending it to include provisions designed to encourage and benefit illegal aliens at the expense of the American people. There are already more than 26 separate pieces of proposed legislation in the U.S. House of Representatives that have been contaminated in this manner and there are easily twice that number now being considered in the U.S. Senate.  In almost every case these bills carry misleading titles implying no connection with anything related to immigration or national security. Examples include such items as the Uniting America’s Military Families Act of 2007, Uniting American Families Act of 2007, Nursing Relief Act of 2007, Save Our Small and Seasonal Businesses Act of 2007, Securing Knowledge, Innovation, and Leadership Act of 2007, Rural America Job Assistance and Creation Act, High-Tech Worker Relief Act of 2007, Agricultural Job Opportunities, Benefits, and Security Act of 2007, Secure Travel and Counterterrorism Partnership Act, Protecting American Commerce and Travel Act of 2007, Western Hemisphere Traveler Improvement Act of 2007 and many others.  The implementation of any of these proposals along with the fraudulent illegal alien benefit amendments they contain will only result in even more illegal aliens and in many cases the amended versions would amount to amnesty for various groups of illegal aliens already in this country.

The failed Senate attempt to force amnesty down the unwilling gullets of the American people was easy to spot, however, the underhanded trickery now being employed by our elected representatives in Washington is going to be very difficult to stop.  Washington’s long-term professional politicians know more loopholes and back-door tricks to get these destructive proposals passed into law than we can ever hope to be aware of and unless we take put a focused and dedicated man in the office of President who will veto everyone of these destructive proposals as they come up we may as well kiss our way of life here in America good bye.  There is only one candidate with the capacity and the integrity to represent the people of this nation in this fight against the dishonest congressional representatives who now threaten to inundate our nation with illegal aliens and that man is Tom Tancredo.  There is no other candidate, either Republican or Democrat, who possesses the capacity, the qualifications, the determination and the integrity necessary to do the job that must be done.  There is no candidate that surpasses Tom Tancredo’s historically proven track record for doing what is right by the American people. Anyone willing to spend a few brief moments comparing Tom Tancredo’s voting record to that of the other candidates will clearly see that he is someone that the American people can count on to take care of one of the most pressing issues we have faced in this century.  With Tom Tancredo the American people can be assured of a secure and prosperous future for themselves and their children.  With anyone else we can only be assured of more of the same and inevitably, at our expense, the implementation of laws that benefit those who have broken our laws by illegally invading our country.  Give America the chance it deserves by giving your support to Tom Tancredo for U.S. President in 2008.

The Internal Revenue Service has lost a lawyer’s challenge in front of a jury to prove a constitutional foundation for the nation’s income tax.
The jury in U.S. District Court in Louisiana voted 12-0 to find Cryer, of Shreveport, not guilty of failure to file income taxes for two years. He had been indicted in 2006 on charges of failing to pay $73,000 to the IRS in 2000 and 2001.
His defense was that there is no law making the average working man liable for income taxes, there’s no law or regulation that allows the IRS to contend that earnings are 100 percent profit received in exchange for nothing, and the right to earn a living through any lawful occupation is a constitutionally protected fundamental right, and it is exempt from taxation.

Sam Brownback is the proverbial man in the glass house throwing stones.  He is desperately trying to boost himself off the bottom half of the Republican presidential candidate’s public poll rating scale by slinging mud on his fellow Republicans as Iowa prepares for its straw poll.  Sam Brownback is frustrated with his failure to make any significant headway in his campaign for President and in the typically expected underhanded manner of most professional politicians he is venting his frustration by launching a number of unwarranted personal attacks on his competitors, in this case fellow Republicans.  

Brownback who has described himself as a compassionate conservative (neo-con) has long held that because of his religious beliefs he would naturally carry the support of the more conservative Christian voters and he has shaped his entire campaign effort on the basis of that belief.  After all, this is a man who carefully explained to a family friend that “God wants me to run for President.”  While I won’t presume to deny an affirmation this profound, I can’t help but consider that God may have wanted Sam to run for president because he felt that the man needed a harshly embarrassing lesson in humility.  Ultimately, Sam Brownback may not have been effectively dipping all of his oars as he should have when he calculated his political/religious understanding.  Despite gaining an early endorsement from the National Clergy Council as being their idea of a “gold standard” for conservative presidential candidates, the conservative Christian voters are showing a surprising amount of individual independence and have yet to fall in line behind any single candidate.  Brownback’s religious background may appear too flighty for many Christian voters.  Brownback was raised as a Methodist.  He dropped the religious faith of his parents when he moved on to join a nondenominational evangelical church which he again cut loose when he converted to Catholicism in 2002.  Conservative Christian voters looking for long-term stability and dedication as indicators of good personal character may be seeing a wishy-washy lack of ability to make a firm commitment instead of a rock of faith.  However, Brownback’s political career is similarly marked by the same tendency to switch sides on important issues that he has demonstrated in his religious beliefs. 

Brownback was a cosponsor of the failed 2005 Kennedy-McCain amnesty bill.  When the bill was first revived in 2007, Brownback supported limiting further debate by voting “Yea” on the failed motion to invoke cloture (May 21, 2007 Vote #173). Shortly after voting to continue his support for the amnesty bill, Sam began to question his long-term commitment to amnesty and the affect that position might have on his campaign for president.  He responded to the June 7, 2007 motion to invoke cloture by voting “Nay,” but waffled back to his original position of supporting amnesty for the June 26th vote (Senate vote #228) and then two days later, on June 28th, when the final attempt was made to invoke cloture on the amnesty bill (Senate vote #235), Brownback voted “Nay.”  Sam Brownback’s presidential campaign website now contains the fallacious claim that border security has long been Senator Brownback’s top priority.  For a man that has been quoted as saying that God personally oversees every political decision he makes, this sort of waffling indecision does not bode well.

Sam Brownback sponsored the scary dominionist Constitution Restoration Act of 2005 that, if passed, would have restricted the jurisdiction of Federal courts in legal battles involving government officials who have stated or demonstrated by public means their belief that God is the sovereign source of law, liberty, or government in the United States.  Theoretically, this would buy him a lot of points with the very conservative Christian voters, however, at this point in time the right-wing Christians are simply not buying what Brownback is selling.  Whether it is his apparent incapacity to demonstrate any real sense of integrity or his less-than-ethical involvement as a primary player in the scandalous Triad Management Services effort to circumvent campaign finance laws, is hard to say, but there is obviously something distinctly odiferous emanating from Sam Brownback and it smells a lot more like something that came from the back end of a bull than anything remotely sacred.    

Brownback’s despicable robo-call attack on Mitt Romney and Tom Tancredo is guaranteed to earn him the well deserved reputation of a back-stabbing unethical sleaze-ball.  The attack was so unwarranted it even earned him the scorn of the Democratic Party and Carrie Giddins, the party’s communications director in Iowa observed afterwards that “Brownback’s lackluster fundraising has left him scrambling for relevancy and he needs to exceed expectations in the Straw Poll to have any hope of continuing the campaign.”  Brownback’s attack on Romney focused on a $150.00 donation made by his wife in 1994 to Planned Parenthood of all things and for this Brownback has attacked the candidate (not the wife) as being Pro-Abortion.  He made similar allegations against Tom Tancredo which are completely unwarranted in light of the fact that Tancredo has received an A+ rating from the National Right to Life Committee every year that he has been in Washington.  Furthermore, Tancredo has the voting record to prove his record which is a lot more that Brownback has for his position on immigration reform and amnesty.    

The fact that American politics is full of scandal, lies and deceit is well known, however, none of these qualities have ever been considered a mark of good character in a candidate regardless of his religious affiliation or the source of his inner guidance.  Sam Brownback needs to focus on getting his own program in good working order if he wants to move up in the polls because slamming other people with unwarranted fabrications is certainly not going to make him look any better.  Maybe he just needs to pay better attention to the voice that guides him.
